1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Just Text Me ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Just Text Me is a service that monitors your Gmail inbox based on rules you create and sends SMS notifications when emails match those rules. The Service requires access to your Gmail account (read-only) and a verified phone number.

3. Account Registration

To use our Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Sign in with a valid Google account
  • Provide a valid phone number for SMS notifications
  • Subscribe to a paid plan
  • Provide accurate and complete information

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

Plans and Pricing

We offer paid subscription plans with different feature limits. Current pricing is available on our pricing page. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as described in our refund policy
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees due

Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. If you're not satisfied with the Service within the first 7 days of your initial subscription, contact us for a full refund.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. Your rules will be deactivated but not deleted for 90 days, allowing you to resubscribe without losing your configuration.

5. Gmail Access and Data Usage

By using our Service, you grant us permission to:

  • Access your Gmail account in read-only mode
  • Read email metadata (sender, subject, date) and content
  • Store minimal information about matched emails

We will NOT:

  • Send, modify, or delete your emails
  • Access your Gmail for any purpose other than rule matching
  • Share your email data with third parties
  • Use your email data for advertising

6. SMS Notifications

By providing your phone number and verifying it, you consent to receive SMS messages from us. Message frequency depends on your rules and matching emails. Standard messaging rates may apply.

You may disable SMS notifications at any time by pausing or deleting your rules, or by canceling your subscription.

7. Usage Limits

Each subscription plan includes limits on the number of rules and SMS messages per month. If you exceed your limits:

  • We will notify you when approaching your limit
  • Additional SMS beyond your limit will not be sent
  • You may upgrade your plan to increase limits
  • Limits reset at the start of each billing cycle

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Send spam or unsolicited messages
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Create rules that monitor emails you don't have permission to access

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Just Text Me and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • All emails matching your rules will be detected
  • SMS messages will be delivered immediately or at all
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Just Text Me shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Just Text Me, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
